With its high tensional and flexural strength, flame resistance, outstanding rheology resulting in a great dimensional stability, high work temperature and high chemical resistance and biocompatibility, our PEI is made from ULTEM™ 1010 resin created by SABIC. It is used in a variety of high performance applications in aerospace, medical devices, automotive and electrical/electronics applications. 

Due to its ultimate properties, this material is often used in tooling applications, including but not limited to injection molds, vacuum forming tools, and composites autoclavable tools. 

Filament Specifications:

  • Diameter:  1.75mm (+/- 0.05mm)
  • Colors:  Translucent Orange/Gold

Recommended Printing Specs:

  • Nozzle Temperature: 330 – 370°C (all-metal extruder required)
  • Buildplate Temperature: 110 – 130°C
  • Chamber temperature of 90°C
  • Bed Prep: PVP Gluestick on Glass with our bed prep process
  • No cooling fans
  • Print speeds of 15-20mm/s (starting point)
