The medium-sized offering from Cincinnati is for serious large-format additive manufacturing -- specialized for jigs, fixtures, and machine tools, with it's impressive 1-meter cubed build volume, Cincinnati has taken large-format additive to a new level with their new MAAM machine.
MAAM (Medium Area Additive Manufacturing) is an industrial sized additive machine built for production manufacturing. A rigid welded frame, CNC controls, and the latest extruder technology are combined in this machine to print parts accurately and consistently at speeds that are unmatched in the filament 3D printer market. Its dual print head allows for multi-material printing.
It's an open source material solution, and along with its temperature capabilities in the chamber, print bed and nozzle, allow for 3D printing the industry’s most highly engineered thermoplastics.

MAAM enables the fabrication of robust, GIGANTIC end-use parts. Create complex geometries for custom manifolds, brackets, housings, frames, and more!
RAPID PROTOTYPING
Skip the job shop for your next prototype -- at the click of a button, use the MAAM to create functional prototypes. Test your parts the same day you design them!
CUSTOM TOOLING & FIXTURES
Lean manufacturing requires flexible tools to enable improved efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability. Use the SAAM to eliminate waste in your value stream today!
Robust Construction
MAAM is a welded semi-monocoque chassis. The base is a rigid welded design with built in fork pockets, casters, and leveling pads. The build chamber is a fully enclosed, insulated cabinet with interlocking doors for safety. The table and bridge is a laser cut tab and slot design for accuracy and strength. The fabricated print bed provides stability and ease of operation. The precision rolled ball screws and large profiled linear rails provide fast positioning and smooth, accurate movement. A suite of environmental, temperature, and feed system sensors ensure reliable 3D printing.
Software
MAAM is compatible with all slicing software currently available for 3D printing. The MAAM comes with one license of Simplify3D with customized MAAM profiles, allowing automated settings and quicker start up time for a new customer. The control software on the custom HMI interface includes X, Y, Z offset inputs, Z-Zero function, manual jog control, and manual program overrides for all speeds, flow control, and temperatures.
