Performance 3D printing: redefined

With dual independent extruders capable of 500ºC, an actively heated chamber reaching 100ºC+, and a triple-motor, true-self-leveling 200ºC bed, coupled with the fully open material system, the 22 IDEX v4 brings high-temp additive manufacturing in-house -- at a price that changes the math.

Vision Miner machines and materials are at work with

What makes it different

Two printers in one. Built from steel.

Under-the-hood in race cars, to satellites in space -- whether you're a one-man operation or a 20,000+ employee aerospace company, this machine can get your job done.

2x

BOTH hotends hit 500ºC

Unlike other machines, BOTH independent heads reach the full 500ºC -- so every mode works with every material, PEEK included.

Duplication -- two identical parts at once, up to double the output

Mirror -- left- and right-hand parts in one print

Multi-material -- soluble supports for internal channels you can't machine

100ºC+

The reason PEEK actually prints

Without a hot chamber, PEEK and ULTEM™ warp, crack and delaminate -- no matter how hot the nozzle gets. The 22 IDEX holds 100ºC+ with active convection, and dries your spools inside the chamber while it prints.

0

Times you'll level the bed

Three Z motors physically level the plate before every print. On top of that (literally), the quad-motor gantry squares itself and the toolheads align automatically. Parts printed today match parts printed six months from now.

110V

Runs where you already work

Standard outlet, built-in HEPA and activated carbon filtration, lockable doors. No 3-phase power, no fume hood, no special room. Start with one -- add a second when the work shows up.

Virtually any filament

What materials can it print?

Any 1.75mm filament from any supplier -- no chips, no cartridges, no lockouts. Shop our materials or bring your own. ULTEM™ 9085 runs about $250–290/kg on the 22 IDEX, versus roughly $400–550/kg in Stratasys canisters -- and PEEK (~$700/kg) isn't on a typical closed FFF system's material list at all.

Built for industries that can't afford failure

Who it's for

PEEK · PEKK · ULTEM™

Aerospace & defense

Flight-grade polymers behind your own fence line. ITAR offline mode, a domestic supply chain, and parts in hours instead of a 4–12 week outsourcing cycle.

Prototypes · End-use parts

Manufacturing & production

Jigs, fixtures, tooling and end-use parts. Duplication and mirror modes for throughput, soluble supports for geometry nobody can machine.

Universities · R&D labs

Education & research

The same materials NASA and aerospace primes use, from day one. Real-world capability for students and researchers -- see Caltech below.

Who's printing on it

70%

Caltech CAST · Robotics & aerospace

Up to 70% of the parts in Caltech's M4 Morphabot are printed in-lab on the 22 IDEX -- CF-PEEK and CF-Nylon frames built for rough terrain and near-space conditions. Concept to hardware in hours, not weeks.

"The 22 IDEX's dual extrusion capability and material range are essential to how we build at CAST." -- Caltech CAST Research Team

Detroit small business · HVAC & tooling

A small Detroit maker brought HVAC grates, spacers and custom tooling in-house -- sketch to functional part in days instead of weeks, and fully self-sufficient within weeks of onboarding.

"We went from depending on outside suppliers to running our own production line." -- Detroit-based manufacturer

Built for programs that can't
send files to a service bureau

Your files never leave the building. Your lead times drop from weeks to hours. And you're buying from an American company you can actually call.

ITAR

Offline secure mode

No Wi-Fi and no cloud. Run Ethernet straight to a single PC so the printer never touches your network. That's how most military shops set it up. For full isolation, disable Ethernet and load jobs from the SD card.

NDAA

Trusted US supply chain

Designed, quality-checked, supported and trained in the USA. No Chinese-made controllers. Built to support NDAA priorities -- your procurement office confirms section-specific compliance.

Open architecture

No single-vendor dependency

Open firmware, open materials, non-proprietary serviceable parts. Nothing stops working when a vendor changes its cartridge program.

Flight-grade materials

ULTEM™ 9085, PEEK, PEKK

The polymers aerospace already qualifies -- ULTEM™ 9085 for aircraft interiors, PEEK and CF-PEEK for metal replacement.

Field ready

Lockable, mountable, 110V

Steel frame, lockable doors and lid, mounting points, standard power. It goes where the work is.

American service & support

We cross-train our team on everything we sell -- there's a good chance whoever answers your call can also solve your technical problem. No total-lack-of-communication-for-months-at-a-time. Nope, none of that. Real people, real problem-solving.

01

Onboarding included

Every 22 IDEX includes onboarding with a US engineer, a full documentation wiki and validated slicer profiles. Most teams print production parts within 1–2 weeks.

02

Pro Support when you need it

Priority queue, a direct phone line to engineers, help with slicing, materials, troubleshooting and machine setup. $400/mo, no long contract.

03

Serviceable for life

Non-proprietary parts and terminal-block wiring mean most repairs take minutes and a screwdriver. Every spare part is listed in our store, ready to ship.

Straight answers

Questions engineers ask

What materials can it print?

Basically any 1.75mm thermoplastic: PEEK, PEKK, PAEK, ULTEM™ 1010 and 9085, PPSU, PPS, nylons and CF composites, PC, ABS, ASA, PETG, TPU and soluble supports.

Why does the heated chamber matter so much?

Semi-crystalline polymers like PEEK cool unevenly and build internal stress. Without a 100ºC+ chamber they warp and delaminate regardless of nozzle temperature -- that's why low-cost "500ºC" printers still can't print PEEK reliably.

How does it compare to Stratasys or Markforged?

Comparable or better thermals for high-temp work, at a fraction of the price -- with open materials, open slicers and no service contract. If you need a huge build volume or certified closed-loop process control, a larger closed system may fit better. Call us and we'll tell you straight.

When is it NOT the right machine?

Parts bigger than 350 x 350 x 450mm, runs in the thousands (injection molding wins), cosmetic as-printed surfaces (resin wins), or teams that don't want to tune material settings. We'd rather tell you now.

Can I run a print farm?

Yes. Each machine runs on a standard 110V outlet with its own filtration -- start with one and add units as demand grows. Mirror and duplication modes multiply output per machine.

Is it really made and supported in the USA?

Designed, quality-checked, supported and trained in the USA. HQ in Beaverton, OR; R&D in Santa Ana, CA; plus our own factory in Ukraine. Support comes from American engineers.

What will you make?

22 IDEX v4

Turbine brackets, drone frames, chemical-resistant fixtures, flight-ready interiors -- printed in-house, in PEEK, ULTEM™ and carbon fiber, on a printer that fits your shop floor.
