How we built it

Profitable From the Beginning. Built for Long Term Growth.

Vision Miner was founded and personally funded by CEO Patrick Smith, with a commitment to building a financially independent, profitable, and sustainable company. From day one, Vision Miner has operated without outside investors, venture capital, or borrowed money to finance its growth.

Through disciplined financial management, strategic reinvestment, and a relentless focus on innovation, Vision Miner has consistently funded its own expansion through profitable operations.

Alongside Patrick, co-founder Rob Lent brought many years of experience in high-level marketing, brand development, and business strategy. His expertise in building brands, creating market awareness, and establishing a strong industry presence has been instrumental in transforming Vision Miner from an emerging business into a recognized name in industrial additive manufacturing. Together, their complementary strengths in business leadership, strategic growth, and brand development have played a defining role in shaping the company and driving its continued success.

Today, the company remains 100 percent privately owned, debt free, cash flow positive, and consistently profitable. Annual growth has exceeded 25 percent, with several recent years surpassing 40 percent, all while continuing to expand our product portfolio, manufacturing capabilities, intellectual property, technology development, and global customer base.

What began as a vision has evolved into a rapidly growing industrial manufacturing technology company with multiple complementary revenue streams, proprietary products, advanced manufacturing capabilities, and a worldwide distribution network.

No short-term decisions. Every investment gets measured against the long game.

The business

Eight revenue streams. Each one feeds the others.

The diversification is deliberate. A printer sale brings material, consumables, training and support revenue behind it, and our education channel keeps sending the next customer in.

01

Industrial printers

The 22 IDEX and our production systems, built to run PEEK, ULTEM, PEKK and other high-temperature polymers.

02

Advanced materials

The engineering-grade polymers our customers print every day.

03

Proprietary consumables

Products only we make, led by Nano Polymer Adhesive.

04

Manufacturing services

Parts printed in-house for customers who need them now.

05

Engineering support

Application help from engineers who run the same machines.

06

Enterprise training

Training programs that get engineering and production teams up to speed.

07

Dealer network

A worldwide dealer network that keeps growing.

08

Software platform

Software that simplifies, automates and validates industrial manufacturing.

TAKING CONTROL OF OUR MANUFACTURING FUTURE

In 2024 Vision Miner acquired AddWise, the 3D printer manufacturer in Cherkasy, Ukraine. Manufacturing came under our direct control, and with it full ownership of product development, production, quality and what we build next.

Our position

WE’VE BUILT THE FOUNDATION. NOW COMES THE NEXT LEVEL.

Where we stand

BUILT FOR SOMETHING MUCH BIGGER.

Vision Miner has spent years building the foundation for its next stage of growth. Through disciplined reinvestment, proprietary technology, expanded manufacturing capabilities, and a growing global customer base, we’ve created a profitable, financially independent industrial manufacturing technology company.

We believe the investments we’re making today will unlock opportunities far beyond what we’ve already accomplished. Our vision is to grow Vision Miner to ten times its current scale, and we believe the next three to five years could be the most transformative period in our company’s history.

OUR LONG TERM GROWTH VISION

Where we're open

EXCEPTIONAL PARTNERS. EXTRAORDINARY POTENTIAL.

Vision Miner is not seeking outside capital or pursuing a sale. We have the financial strength and momentum to continue executing our vision independently.

However, we recognize that the right strategic relationship could accelerate what we’re building. We welcome confidential conversations with investors, industry leaders, and potential partners who recognize the value we’ve already created and share our ambition for what comes next.

For those who see the opportunity to become involved at this stage of our growth, we’re willing to explore exceptional proposals that reflect both our current achievements and our long term potential.

Where we're headed

THE FUTURE ISN'T SOMETHING WE'RE WAITING FOR. IT'S SOMETHING WE'RE BUILDING.

We see an extraordinary opportunity ahead as advanced manufacturing continues to evolve. Our ambition is to help shape that future by making industrial manufacturing technology more capable, accessible, intelligent, and scalable.

We're not interested in simply competing in today's market. We're focused on helping define what the next generation of industrial manufacturing will look like.

And while we're confident in our ability to execute independently, we recognize that the right people, partnerships, and opportunities could take us even further.

We’ve proven what we can accomplish independently. THE OPPORTUNITY IS TO HELP SHAPE WHAT COMES NEXT.
