What is Geomagic Design X Go?

Geomagic Design X Go is the entry tier of Design X, Hexagon's reverse engineering software. It takes a 3D scan -- a mesh or point cloud -- and turns it into editable CAD: clean up and repair the scan, sketch on it, build solids with extrudes and revolves, add basic surfaces, then send the model to SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, Creo, NX or AutoCAD with LiveTransfer.

It's built for a first reverse engineering seat, simple prismatic parts and small shops. Design X Go is sold as a one-year subscription or a perpetual license with the first year of maintenance, computer-locked only. Need advanced surfacing or direct scanner plugins? Step up to Design X Plus or Pro.
