What do I need to start printing?

The printer, a resin, and a way to wash and cure. The "Complete your setup" row has all three -- one click adds them.

Which resin tank do I need?

The standard tank runs the Alpha Resins. Grab a Resin Tank Pro for Tough 1500 V2 or any third-party 405 nm resin -- Open Material Mode is included, no license fee.

When does it ship?

First units are expected to ship in late November or December 2026. Founders Edition colors run through November 30, or while supplies last. They'll go fast, so make sure you call us if you want a color. 

What is the Founders Edition?

The limited launch run: a Founders Edition tag in the printer interface, limited colors, and the launch perks listed under Full Packages -- on every Founders Edition order.

How fast does it print?

Most prints finish in under two hours (53 mm tall at 100 µm layers). Alpha Fast Resin runs up to 130 mm/hr.

Can I use other resins?

Alpha Resins plus Tough 1500 V2, Flexible 80A V2 and True Cast are validated. Any 405 nm resin runs in Open Material Mode with the Resin Tank Pro -- you pour it by hand.

How long does a resin tank last?

Rated for more than 75,000 layers -- about 190 average prints -- with proper care. The tank film is not replaceable.

Can I check on prints remotely?

Yes. The built-in camera works with the Formlabs Mobile App and Dashboard for live view, time-lapses and print history. You can cover or disable it any time.

What software does it use?

PreForm, free from Formlabs -- one-click orientation, supports and slicing. Third-party slicers are not supported.
