The SAAM High-Temperature 3D Printer by CINCINNATI can print with virtually any material, from PEEK to Nylon, at a resolution of 11 microns. It can reach temperatures of 500°C in the printing head, 250°C heated bed, and a heated chamber capable of reaching 160°C, the SAAM HT can print nearly any material on the market.

SAAM HT is optimized for fabrication of tooling, fixtures, prototypes, and functional parts.

SAAM HT (Small Area Additive Manufacturing High Temperature). SAAM HT is optimized for fabrication of tooling, fixtures, prototypes, and functional parts.

SAAM HT enables 3D printing of high temperature and high strength polymers and composite materials courtesy of a high temperature nozzle (up to 500°C), a high temperature print bed (up to 250°C), and an actively heated print chamber.

SAAM HT is optimized for printing in 3D printing’s most demanding materials including

ULTEM™ , carbon-fiber and glass-fiber reinforced polymers to provide fabricators the ability to make strong, stiff, and custom tools more rapidly and inexpensively than conventional tools.

SAAM HT is flexible: compatible with all industry-standard 3D slicing software including Cura, Simplify3D, Slic3r, and more. Advanced users can take full control of their SAAM HT system to print in any compatible material.

CONSTRUCTION

SAAM HT is constructed from an all-metal frame and enclosure. An insulated aluminum enclosure maintains a heated environment to prevent thermal distortion while printing even the highest temperature polymers and composites. The aluminum and steel frame is built and tested for long lifetime. All major components are designed to be modular for easy maintenance and upgrades. An on-board touch screen enables easy system monitoring.

CI PRINT SOFTWARE

SAAM is compatible with all slicing software currently available for 3D printing. CI Print Local software is built on the robust and highly tested Octoprint open source printing software platform to ensure users can print locally and remotely.
