Today we’re talking about 3 things to look for when you’re tuning your 3D printer.

The frist, most important detail is your first layer -- the foundation of your 3D print. If your first layer isn’t looking perfect, it’s bound to cause issues later in the print.

The first layer should be smooth, consistent, and have straight lines -- it shouldn’t have a texture or pattern.

The second thing to look at is your surface quality -- if your part isn’t looking smooth, something is wrong -- this could be wet filament, dirty mechanics, improper first layer, or several other things.

Lastly, your part orientation -- placing the part at different angles on the plate, with or without support, can have a dramatic effect on the quality of your part!
